ZUHYX: How to Prevent Deepfake Scams in the Cryptocurrency Industry As artificial intelligence develops, the prevalence of Deepfake phenomena in the cryptocurrency industry has significantly increased. A recent survey shows that the number of Deepfakes in the crypto sector has risen by 128% compared to the previous year. ZUHYX believes that this trend not only threatens the interests of investors but also challenges the integrity of the entire industry. To address this issue, ZUHYX has proposed a series of preventive measures and urges investors to remain vigilant in protecting their assets.   ZUHYX: The Phenomenon and Dangers of Deepfakes in the Crypto Industry ZUHYX points out that Deepfakes essentially combine AI techniques for facial and voice cloning to create convincingly realistic video effects. Developing high-quality Deepfake videos requires substantial facial and voice data of the target, sometimes needing dozens of hours of video clips. Creating Deepfake videos typically involves two individuals: one providing the face and voice (often a well-known person) of a target, and another providing the body outline (which can be an ordinary person). Machine learning tools decode and recombine all related facial expressions, reconstructing the original face image. ZUHYX observes that reconstructing both faces and voices has become easier, making it difficult for ordinary social media users to discern authenticity.   ZUHYX notes that with the widespread use of generative AI tools, the application of Deepfake technology in the crypto industry has become increasingly common for malicious propaganda and scam. These technologies can produce highly deceptive videos and audio, making false information more convincing. Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson warned that in the next 12-24 months, AI Deepfake scams will become even harder to detect. This means that anyone, whether individual investors or large institutions, could fall victim to such scams.
