According to Reuters, US Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer expects to lead a bipartisan congressional delegation to China, Japan, and South Korea shortly, an aide to Schumer said on Tuesday.

The China trip would be high-profile for Schumer, a Democrat who has consistently encouraged the US to take a tougher stance against China and would follow trips by several Biden administration officials, including Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo in August.
