Hello traders. How quickly time flies, for we have passed the middle month mark of September already. It is my hope that this month has brought all of you profitable trades so far.
For today, we will get to know trader, @KAUSHER. Let us begin with some data from his Account #6, taken as of 17 September at 1pm.
- Trading period stands at a healthy 11 weeks.
- Current ROI stands at 63.60%.
- Total profit is at $1545.63.
- Average profit is at $12.21 and average lost is at -$18.4.
- Profit and loss ratio stands at 226:66
- Leverage is at 1:500
Summary of Analysis:
Current ROI is healthy at 63.60%. The profit over the past 3 months is promising, with an increasing trend line (refer graph included at the bottom part of this article) with the exception of a slight dip at the end of July. This was due to two larger trades involving a sell position in EUR/USD and XAU/USD. However, the profit gradually improved from then up until present time.
The EUR/USD as well as the XAU/USD are certainly popular currencies, especially now as the XAU/USD is fighting hard to maintain its position as a safe haven, so it will be interesting to see what the coming weeks unfold for the trading journey of @KAUSHER.

I have always found the implication of correlation between the Euro and Gold remarkably interesting. Both of assets have a negative correlation to the greenback. This is not a perfect correlation however, because are also instances when both the Euro and the USD both win/lose against the gold.
Hence, it is good to see that @KAUSHER's trading focus is around these two pairings as well. It is always a good strategy to master several currencies and gain a strong understanding of market fundamentals surrounding it.
At the start of the trading of this account in July, 7 trades in GBP/USD as well as 1 trade in GBP/JPY was recorded. 5 trades were wins while 2 trades were losses for the GBP/USD pairing. For the sole trade in the GBP/JPY pairing, that trade was a win.
However, as time progressed, @KAUSHER only traded two pairings which are EUR/USD and XAU/USD – which paints a picture of a trader cautious with risk management and skimming off pairings which he is not certain about.
The trading journey is certainly a mix of experiences - but I believe that what differentiates a successful trader and a not so successful one is to know when to cut losses and move on.
