Stay tuned for the FOMC meeting this week

For potential impact on the movement of the Greenback, stay tuned for the FOMC Meeting this week (Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept 15 and 16) – the first since the momentous Jackson Hole Symposium last month. Many are expecting to hear the Fed’s latest economic projections as well as perhaps a follow on the average inflation targeting regime. A broad sell off in risky assets in the market can be expected if Jeremy Powell calls for more fiscal stimulus from the US government.
