Further news from Australia – Scott Morrison, Australia’s PM is likely to announce a cut in JobKeeper wage subsidy at the end of September:
- Subsidy to be slashed to $1,200 a fortnight for full time workers and $750 for part time workers, down form the current single rate of $1,500.
It was observed that AUD trended downwards upon release of RBA’s June Minutes but picked up there after – and all eyes are on how Morrison’s announcement will impact the AUD movement.
