Australian’s PM Scott Morrison has sounded a warning that the July jobs data will be worsened due to the reimposed lockdown. He has cautioned that the reintroduced lockdown restrictions in Victoria could be reflected in the jobs data. Australia’s unemployment rate rose to 7.4% in June – the lowest level in 2 decades!
