All French citizens must have heaved a huge sigh of relief at the announcement of the new Prime Minister Jean Castex – that “there won’t be another coronavirus lockdown like they had in March”. He will also be completing a new government with junior ministers next week and will be starting new talks with unions on pension reforms before July 20.
