The Dow Jones Industrial Average is slumping Wednesday morning with shares of Boeing and Dow Inc. delivering the stiffest headwinds for the price-weighted average. Shares of Boeing BA, -5.25% and Dow Inc. DOW, -4.66% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge's intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -2.80% was most recently trading 793 points (3.0%) lower. Boeing's shares are down $10.55, or 5.6%, while those of Dow Inc. are off $2.09 (5.0%), combining for an approximately 87-point drag on the Dow. Raytheon Technologies Corp. RTX, -4.35%, Exxon Mobil XOM, -4.06%, and Chevron CVX, -4.00% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark results in a 6.86-point swing.
